In a public workspace, anyone in the organization can change the name and purpose of a workspace as well as adding people to or removing members from a workspace directly. In a private workspace, this function is for workspace leader only.
In this article, you'll learn:
Change the name or purpose by clicking on their respective fields on the Workspace Info page and then typing in the new information. When you are done, click out of the input field and the new workspace name or purpose will be saved.
- Add a workspace member
Start typing a name to find the person you want to add. Select his/her name from the dropdown. In a private workspace, you can also click the checkbox to make someone a leader of the private workspace. This person will be notified by email and also have quick access to the workspace via their workspace navigator.
- Cant find someone? If you want to add someone who dos not currently have a Meeteor account in your organization, contact your organization admin and ask him or her to add the user to the organization. Only Meeteor account holders can be added to a workspace.
- Remove workspace member
Click the 'X' icon next to each member's name to remove them from the workspace. They can still access the content in this workspace but will not be notified of the workspace activity.
